Workplace Mental Health Zen Program

Are you a Mental Health First Aide Officer who is looking to support your colleagues’ mental health?
Would you like access to a few easy and effective ways to IMMEDIATELY support someone who is struggling?

Wouldn’t it be great to help your stressed colleagues become calmer, more focussed, and more relaxed in just a few minutes?

Program Benefits

You will be equipped to help people exhibiting signs of anxiety, stress and/or overwhelm immediately attain a calmer, more relaxed and peaceful state.

You will have the confidence, capability and tools to empower your colleagues to also better maintain their own mental well-being.

The program can help..

Someone in distress immediately. In just a few quiet moments you can help bring stress levels down and de-escalate intense situations by using simple and effective mindful movement and breathing tools. The program helps you make the workplace calmer and more productive in general by not only supporting the mental health of your colleagues but by enabling them to better manage their own mental well-being too.

The program will teach you..

How to reduce stress and improve the state of mind of yourself and others in the workplace through movement and breathing exercises. It demonstrates the modalities used, brief history of the modalities and how the exercise practice is beneficial for both physical and mental wellbeing. Very importantly, it also shows you how to teach others these simple and effective moves, so they are better equipped to monitor and improve their own mental well-being.

The program is designed to ..

Provide you with efficient tools to immediately support a colleague when you recognise they are stressed or distressed. None of these tools are difficult or complicated. The value is in their speed, simplicity, and effectiveness. You can share these tools so people can take more responsibility for their own mental health – so that when they feel stressed, they take themselves away for a few quiet moments and practise some of these techniques.

Our mental health matters, and often we are unsure of what we can do to support our mental wellbeing or those around us who may be struggling with their mental health.

When anxiety or depression takes over our body, we can feel overwhelmed, distressed and this can cause shortness of breath, vomiting, headaches and or heart palpitations.

These anxious feelings can trigger the flight/fight response and release a flood of chemicals and hormones, like adrenaline, into our system. With occasional stress, these hormones can help your body return to normal function. Unfortunately though, if you are repeatedly feeling anxious and stressed, your body may not receive the signals to return to normal functioning.

When our mental health is being compromised it can be very overwhelming. There is not always a quick fix, but if you were given a tool that could help, would you be interested in learning more?

The Workplace Mental Health Zen Program is designed to provide you with quick and effective exercises to help reduce stress and anxiety.
