The Zen Movement Program is designed to provide you with the quick and effective exercises to help reduce stress and anxiety.

Our mental health matters, and often we are unsure of what we can do to support our mental wellbeing or those around us who may be struggling with their mental health.

When anxiety or depression takes over our body, we can feel overwhelmed, distressed and this can cause shortness of breath, vomiting, headaches and or heart palpitations. 

These anxious feelings can trigger the flight/fight response and release a flood of chemicals and hormones, like adrenaline, into our system. With occasional stress, these hormones can help your body return to normal function. Unfortunately though, if you are repeatedly feeling anxious and stressed, your body may not receive the signals to return to normal functioning.

When our mental health is being compromised it can be very overwhelming. There is not always a quick fix, but if you were given a tool that could help, would you be interested in learning more?

The Zen Movement Program is designed to provide you with tools to support strong mental wellbeing, to help the body and mind return to a relaxed natural state. 

Zen Movements is an easy, natural, and effective practice that allows you to remove stress from your mind and body, making space for a more peaceful life.

The program will introduce to you the modalities that are used, basic history of the modalities and how the exercise practice is beneficial for your physical and mental wellbeing. 

By completing this program, you will have the knowledge to safely share the mindfulness exercises with your family, friends, and or work colleagues. And therefore, providing you with a tool that you can use when they or yourself are feeling stressed or anxious. 

** Zen Movements is NOT a treatment for anxiety or depression. It is a support system that can work alongside a Mental Health Plan.

The Zen Movement Program is an easy to access online program. 

The program includes easy to follow online modules and videos that you can access at anytime.

Included in your program are two free "LIVE" workshops from your instructor Jo Stevens to provide you with support and answer any questions you may have. 

The Level One Zen Movement Program is designed to give you the tools to share the mindfulness exercises with your family friends or work colleagues. 

No prior skills are necessary. 

Please note: This course will not give you the credentials to be a Zen Movement Practitioner.

Jo Stevens

Jo is a Certified Mindfulness & Zen Movement Coach.
Zen Movements is a unique program that is a combination of Qi-Gong, Shaking Yoga and Meditation. The Zen Zone uses this modality throughout their workshops as it is a quick and effective way for clients to reduce stress through movement.
Jo is an accredited Mental Health First Aide Officer and is passionate about supporting others to take control of their mental wellbeing, step out of their comfort zone and learn to accept themselves for who they are.

Jo's goal is to support clients with their mental well-being and to provide them with tools to take control of their own mental health.
