Jo is a Certified Mindfulness & Mindful Movement Coach.
Mindful Movements is a unique program that is a combination of Qi-Gong, Shaking Yoga and Meditation. The Zen Zone uses this modality throughout their workshops as it is a quick and effective way for clients to reduce stress through movement.
Jo is an accredited Mental Health First Aide Officer and is passionate about supporting others to take control of their mental wellbeing, step out of their comfort zone and learn to accept themselves for who they are.
Jo understands the struggles of Mental Health, in 2014 her husband was diagnosed with PTSD after serving with the Australian Defence Force for 27 years, and it was through that journey that Jo learnt the importance of mindfulness and now wants to share what she has learnt with others.
Jo's goal is to empower people to take control of their own mental wellbeing through movement and mindfulness techniques, to help put The “ZEN” back into their Zone!
In 2020 Jo was awarded third place in the AusMumpreneur Awards in 2020 in the Health & Wellbeing category presented by The Women’s Business School, the awards were created to inspire, celebrate and provide a community for Australian entrepreneurs.
